MAKE A GIFT TO ASF
Click the “Donate Now” button on this page. It’s simple, secure, tax deductible and provides direct funding to support ASF’s efforts. The majority of ASF’s funding is directly invested in research to find better treatment options and a cure for Alport syndrome. If you prefer not to give online, checks can be sent to: Alport Syndrome Foundation, P.O. Box 4130, Scottsdale, AZ 85261.
BECOME A VOLUNTEER
Become a volunteer for our annual Campaign for Healthy Kidneys! Our campaign kicks off every September. We’ll provide sample letters, guidance and support, as well as a platform to create your own private fundraising page for you to share with your family, friends, neighbors and colleagues as you choose. For information, contact us.
HOST A FUNDRAISING EVENT
Host a fundraising event of your own! Do you like to run, walk, bike, golf, barbecue, play hockey or lacrosse? All of these are examples of how patient families have turned their hobbies into successful and friend-and-fundraising events. Need help getting started? Contact us.
One of our most long-standing examples of turning passion into fundraising for ASF is Dr. Tom Denham’s annual Charity Climb. Tom has raised more than $40,000 through his annual efforts, and brought significant awareness to his family’s journey with Alport syndrome.
JOIN YOUR EMPLOYEE GIVING PROGRAM
Ask your employer (human resources) if they have a matching gift or employee giving program. Companies often support the organizations that matter most to their employees. If so, you can double your gift with an employer match, or automatically deduct a pre-set amount of your payroll check directed to ASF at intervals of your choice. If you need guidance, paperwork completed, or help getting ASF approved as a charitable organization, contact us.
THINK OF ASF WHEN YOU SHOP!
Add Alport Syndrome Foundation as your dedicated charitable organization through Amazon Smile and other shop-for-a-cause programs. This way, a percentage of all your purchases are directed to ASF. It all adds up! For questions on how to direct your settings to support ASF with a specific program, contact [email protected]
