Please note gifts can be made in memory or in honor of an individual or family. The majority of ASF’s funding is directly invested in research to find better treatment options and a cure for Alport syndrome. Become a volunteer for our Annual Campaign! Our Campaign kicks off in early Fall. We’ll provide sample letters, guidance and support, as well as a platform to create your own personal fundraising page for you to share with your family, friends, neighbors, and colleagues as you choose. HOST A FUNDRAISING EVENT
Host a fundraising event of your own! Do you like to run, walk, bike, golf, play hockey or lacrosse? All of these are examples of how patient families have turned their hobbies into successful fundraising events. TEAM ASF is designed to encourage individuals participating in competitive events to raise awareness and funding for Alport Syndrome Foundation while earning customized apparel. Interested in fundraising independently of a competitive event? ASF Staff can create a personalized fundraising page based on your needs! We respectfully request that you use our unique fundraising platform instead of others (such as Facebook) to ensure the maximum percentage of your donation is directed to ASF and we can properly track and, most importantly, thank our generous donors. JOIN YOUR EMPLOYEE GIVING PROGRAM
Ask your employer (human resources) if they have a matching gift or employee giving program. Companies often support the organizations that matter most to their employees. If so, you can double your gift with an employer match, or automatically deduct a pre-set amount of your payroll check directed to ASF at intervals of your choice. Add Alport Syndrome Foundation as your dedicated charitable organization through goodshop and other shop-for-a-cause programs. This way, a percentage of qualifying purchases are directed to ASF.
