Barehanded Books is Raising Money for Alport Syndrome

Barehanded Books is offering their book First Person Last by Kevin M. Lottes for any donation of $10 or more with 100% of the proceeds benefiting the Alport Syndrome Foundation. Cameron - the boy seen on the cover of First Person Last is an Alport Syndrome patient and the author's "buddy".

First Person Last is taut, lyrical collection of stories that signify the author's personal dream of individual peace, family appeasement, emotional articulation, and release. In First Person Last a young man confronts his estranged father in one last attempt at reconciliation. A desperate woman is lost behind a shower curtain. A little boy struggles to understand the quiet complications of war through his veteran grandfather. An ordinary man tries to cross the street, but the sudden burst of civilization petrifies his entrance into the uncertainty of a mundane cross walk.

To order your copy of First Person Last and support the Alport Syndrome Foundation just make a donation of $10 or more and indicate on your donation that you would like a copy of First Person Last sent to you. Donate Now for your free copy of First Person Last
